Fifth annual SPHS alumni banquet set

The fifth annual South Putnam Alumni Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, April 23 at South Putnam High School .

A social hour will begin at 5 p.m. with the dinner and program to begin at 6.

Special guest for the night will be Gary Broadstreet as he joins Becky Brothers, Bill Gardner and Harriot Dobson in receiving the 2016 Retired Teacher Hall of Fame Award.

The classes of 1975 and 1990 will be recognized along with the presentation of the Alumni Hall of Fame award.

The South Putnam Community Education Foundation will present the 2016 Teacher Grants and Scholarship winners along with the presentation of the Wildman Leadership Award provided by the Quarterback Club.

Entertainment will be provided by Larry Jones of the Class of 1973.

Reservations for the banquet are requested by April 10.
