Darlene M. Biddle

Darlene M. Biddle, 77, of Greencastle, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016.

She was born Jan. 31, 1939 in Belle Union.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew R. "Rock" and Edna "Ruth" (Slavens) Cline.

She married Gary L. Biddle on June 20, 1970, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2011.

She was a member of Hanna Street Baptist Church, Greencastle, and a member of Moose Lodge 1592, Greencastle.

She retired from the Greencastle School Corporation in 2009.

Surviving are her daughters, Melody McGowen and husband Mike, West Lebanon, Monica Butts and husband Tom, Greencastle, and Heather Little and husband Shawn, Davenport, Fla.; grandchildren Leeah Vasquez, Chelsey, Zachary, Gabriel and Fayth Adams, Ashlee Skinner and Mike, Thomas Butts, Shawna Young and John, Trisha Switzer and Jay, Jason McGowen and Amanda, Tyler and Tad Little; great-grandchildren Jarrick Hayden, Sylas Vasquez, Roscoe "Ros" Skinner, Jayce McGowen, Jessi Switzer, Lexi and Lyla Young, Gracelynn and River Little; brother Joby Cline and wife Betty; and lifelong friends Linda and Ronald Dorsett, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 1.

Interment will be at Walnut Chapel Cemetery, Belle Union.
