Katherine M. Wichmann

Katherine M. Wichmann, 91, of Greencastle, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her residence.

Born Oct. 20, 1924 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Dewey and Lillie (Newgent) Stultz.

She was a 1943 graduate of the Clinton Center School.

She was a dairy farmer and a member of the Lutheran Church.

She married Everett Roy Wichmann on Aug. 22, 1943. Everett preceded her in death on March 3, 1972.

She is survived by her children, Barbara J. Doepping and husband Paul of Valparaiso, Bobby Ray and Billy Roy of Greencastle, Sandra K. Drake and husband Daniel, of Farmersburg; two grandchildren, Bradley C. and Katherine of Farmersburg; siblings Julia Jean Newgent, San Antonio, Fla., George A. Stultz and wife Ruth, of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph D. and James R. Stultz.

Services and interment were held privately at Clinton Falls Cemetery.
