I-70 Crash Update

An overturned semi in western Putnam County slowed traffic in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 Wednesday. The first report of the accident came from the ISP Putnamville Post's twitter feed at 11:49 a.m., with Sgt. Joe Watts reporting that troopers and other emergency agencies were responding to an overturned semi, driven by Patrick J. Okief, 74, of Chico, Tex., near the 31-mile marker approximately 10 miles west of Cloverdale.
