Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available for one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair computers and devices.

-- One Hour of Code, 4-5 p.m.

Learn how to code for early-learning benefits and becoming fluent with technology. Ages 8-13. Space is limited, so register in advance.

Tuesday, April 19

Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available for one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair computers and devices.

-- Milk and Cookies Club, 4-5 p.m.

Enjoy milk and cookies as "Toys Go Out" by Emily Jenkins is read aloud. This short chapter book is appropriate for all ages and will be read over the course of a couple weeks.

-- Learn to Crochet, 6-7 p.m.

Free six-week course taught by Jo MacPhail. Class is currently full.

Wednesday, April 20

-- Baby Time, 10:30-11 a.m.

Sing songs, read stories, play with toys, talk and laugh with your baby.

-- Writers Group, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes, move around to music and make a craft.

-- Pre-K Prime Time, 11-11:45 a.m.

Hear theme-based stories, move around and sing action songs, make a craft, and have a small snack.

-- Junior Scientists, 4-5 p.m.

Conduct simple science experiments to learn about the world around you.

Friday, April 22

Looking for a little quiet in the library? Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games or music in the background.

-- Computer Class: Using the Library's Online Resources, noon-2 p.m.

Using the Library's Online Resources Class will give patrons an overview of the library's website, the online card catalog, the library's downloadable eBook and Audiobook service, and give instructions on how to get materials delivered around the county. Computer classes are for beginners and are free and open to the public but registration is required since space is limited.
