Troy Greenlee teaches math to the eight-grade students of Greencastle Middle School, as well as serving as the head boys' basketball coach for Greencastle High School and owning the Straight Paths Driving School. He and his wife, Becky, have five children ranging from ages 24 to 6. He enjoys watching sports on television, especially the Colts, Pacers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Indiana University. Dancing with the Putnam County Stars will be his first community activity, as well as his first dancing experience. But he agreed to participate because he "thought it would be a fun challenge" and "to help the Youth Development Commission." He also hopes to "meet new people, have fun and gain a new appreciation for dancing."

Putnam County Community Corrections Director Jamie France was originally announced as a competitor, but had to withdraw due to injury.

After introducing the ladies of the upcoming Dancing with the Putnam County Stars, the Banner Graphic now presents the men taking part

The eighth annual event is set to take place on Saturday, April 23.

Bucky Kramer is a teacher and coach for the North Putnam Community School Corporation. He coaches the Youth Football League; the Elementary, Middle School and High School Wrestling teams; the Middle School Track team; and the High School Football team. He and his wife, Amanda, have two children. He enjoys research, sports, reading and helping his community by volunteering at Bethel Baptist Church, among other activities. He says that in addition to "shaking my booty for the fun of it," he has dance experience through participating in high schol and college musical theatre, the Civic Players of Logansport and Russellville Dancing Fundraiser. He agreed to participate in Dancing with the Putnam County Stars because "the youth of our community are our lifeblood and any way that I could help to raise funds or support them, I am always more than willing to give time for those causes."

Besides featuring a new group of dancers, the 2016 event will also have a change of venue, as the fundraiser moves to the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The evening will begin in the goat barn at 5 p.m. for social hour and dinner before moving to the inside arena for the dancing.

Tony Detro is the owner and operator of Detro Trailers LLC. He and P.J., his wife of "10 years and counting," have three children ranging from age 8 to 1. Spending time with his kids are one his hobbies, but he also enjoys hunting fishing and golfing. He has been involved in various sponsorships and donations within the community, but says he is "looking to expand through this experience." Of dancing experience he has none, but he hopes "to raise money for a great organization and to challenge myself." "I hope to make new friends and connections within our county," he said. "I am interested in becoming more involved with organizations like PCYDC that help our local community."
Jake Martin is the head baseball coach at DePauw University. He has one daughter and spending time with her is one of his favorite pasttimes, as well as fitness and attending sporting events and live concerts. He has "zero" dance experience, but agreed to dance anyway because he "was excited to have the opportunity to help raise money for a great cause. I thought this was a great way for me to do something outside of my comfort zone and meet new people along the way." He also hopes to "have fun doing something that is a stretch for me personally."
Don Owen is the exalted ruler at the Greencastle Elks Lodge and an employee of Buzzi Unicem who prefers to spend his time singing with his guitar and has no dance experience. But he agreed to dance for his county to "have fun, raise money for a great cause and who can say no to Amy Felling?" He hopes that while he's out there dancing he will "have a good time and maybe learn how to dance."
