Cougars top Quakers in pitchers' duel

PLAINFIELD -- Jackson Kendall's seventh-inning RBI broke a scoreless tie, as North Putnam defeated Plainfield 1-0 on the baseball diamond Friday night.

The Cougars' Brayden White and the Quakers' Ethan Greiner each tossed two-hit complete games, but Greiner took the loss on the late run.

White struck out 11 on his way to the victory.
