Tad Bit of Blues, BBQ and Bourbon

Sunday, April 24, 2016
Banner Graphic/ERIC BERNSEE A mix of bourbon, barbecue and blues provide an interesting evening of entertainment for a sold-out crowd Saturday night at DePauw University's Music on the Square venue. Greencastle bluesman Tad Robinson (left) provides the music via both voice and harmonica licks, while a finger-licking good barbecue spread is overseen by Chef Daniel Orr of FARM/Bloomington. A tasting of Kentucky bourbon from Heaven Hill Distilleries in Bardstown, Ky., started the festivities. The next such Communiversity event at M2 is expected to focus on jazz in the fall.

  • And home town talent, Sandy Williams, in the background on guitar.
