Ballroom dance party set Saturday at Bainbridge Community Building

BAINBRIDGE -- For a pair of ballroom dancers from Bainbridge, the chance to practice their favorite hobby in their hometown is rare.

Woodie and Freda Hutcheson were undeterred by this fact, though, choosing instead to host their own ballroom dance party at the Bainbridge Community Building.

Ballroom Dance Party Under the Stars is set for Saturday, May 21 from 6-10 p.m. at the Community Building.

Music for the evening will be provided by The Blue Notes, featuring Jack and Rusty Welker of Kokomo singing and playing brass and keyboard.

The evening will begin with a foxtrot lesson from the Hutchesons at 6 p.m., followed by the dance from 7-10 p.m.

Exhibitions will also be performed.

The event is open to the public, anyone 21 or older. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
