Cloverdale FFA alumni car show Saturday

The Cloverdale High School FFA Alumni Association will host its second annual Track, Tractor and Car Show Saturday, May 21 at Putnam Park Road Course (5251 S. CR 550 East, Greencastle).

Admission is free to the 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. event.

Classic cars and a few antique tractors will be on display.

Also, 10/10ths Motorsports will also have many of its members' sports cars on display and a few will be available for rides given by their owners. Cost is $20 a ride or two rides for $30 with proceeds to benefit the Cloverdale FFA Alumni Scholarship fund.

Persons must be 18 years old and be wearing long pants, a long-sleeve shirt or jacket and closed toed shoes in order to ride per racing safety regulations.

The high-speed rides are not meant for the weak of heart. In fact, a waiver release will be required before a person can ride.

The event is sponsored by First National Bank, POET and 10/10ths Motorsports.
