Author Becker to speak during Union Chapel Sunday service

MORTON -- Union Chapel United Methodist Church will welcome author Connie Becker during its regular Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. on May 22.

Becker sets out to help Christian deepen their understanding of faith by identifying God's plan for mankind and explaining how it works in her new nonfiction book "God's Magnificent Plan: How It's Designed and Why It Works."

In an accessible, conversational style, the book give readers an overview of God's plan of salvation for all mankind. Becker guides readers to an organized, interconnected understanding of why God's plan is designed the way it is and how it brings salvation to those who choose to accept Jesus Christ.

The book also includes the author's personal testimony and biblical examples to give a foundation of knowledge.

Becker has served the Lord as a Bible study leader and lay speaker for more than 30 years. She is a wife, mother of two daughters and a grandmother.

After many years of living in large metropolitan areas, she now resides in Parke County.

Union Chapel is located at 5998 W. U.S. 36. All are invited. Books will be available for purchase.
