At the Shelter

Here are the latest stray animals currently held at the Putnam County Animal Care and Control Shelter, 4700 E. State Road 240, Greencastle.

--Dog: Adult, male, yellow, lab mix, found at U.S. 231 and State Road 42.

--Dog: Adult, female, black and tan, miniature pinscher, found at Edgelea.

These animals were not wearing identification and were not microchipped.

To claim an animal, you must present proof of ownership.

Public hours at the shelter are 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

The shelter is in desperate need of fosters. Commitments can be as little as 2 weeks. All supplies & training are provided. Please call the shelter to sign up today!
