Retired Teachers' Scholarship Winner

The Putnam Country Retired Teachers Association has awarded Ellen Gobert (left), a 2013 graduate of Greencastle High School, its 2016 scholarship. Marilyn Lawrence presents Gobert with a certificate of award for the scholarship, which is awarded annually to a Putnam County high school graduate entering his or her third or fourth year of college in the fall. The recipient must be taking courses that will prepare them for a career in education. Gobert will be entering her senior year at Indiana University where she majoring in speech and language pathology. Following graduation, she will be attending graduate school to earn her master's degree in speech and language pathology with a goal of becoming a school-based speech language pathologist.
