Troy Remsburg has resigned his position as varsity baseball coach at Greencastle High School.

Remsburg coached baseball for the Tiger Cubs for 14 years, eight of them as head coach.

"His teams won six county championships and three conference championships under his leadership," Greencastle athletic director Greg Hill said in announcing Remsburg's resignation. "We are grateful for the time and effort he has given our program and the sacrifices his family has made during these 14 years."

Remsburg's final Tiger Cub team went 4-16 and finished as sectional runner-up to Indian Creek.

"The young people I have coached and mentored, and those whom I have worked with during my career, have enriched my life," Remsburg said. "I'm forever grateful to them for the shared memories."
