William L. 'Willie' Boggs

William L. "Willie" Boggs, 88, of Greencastle passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016.

He was born on July 29, 1927 in Kentucky to Frelen and Maude Baker Boggs.

Willie was a factory worker for Richardson Company for several years before his retirement.

He was an U.S. Army veteran.

Willie was a generous and loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle.

He loved to grow his fruit trees, a garden and fish.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons Larry and James Boggs; daughters Cathy (Brian) Swauger, Susie Picot and Karen (Rodney) Asher; grandchildren Tonya and Johnny, Shannon, Adam and Sondra, Shawna (Brandon), Mary and Stacey and Sam and Nick.

Memorial calling will be on Wednesday, June 8 from 4-7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.
