Purdue Club golf outing set June 22

The Purdue Club of Putnam County will hold its 18th annual golf outing on Wednesday, June 22 at Windy Hill County Club.

Registration will begin at 11 a.m. followed by lunch at 11:30.

Golf will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

Registration forms are available at Windy Hill Country Club or from Rodger Winger (386-6219) 178 Mill Springs, Coatesville, or Jerry Williams (653-3523) 507 Ritter Ave., Greencastle.

Following the golf, a 7 p.m. dinner at Autumn Glen will feature the club's scholarship recipients and Purdue guests.

Cost of the dinner is $20 per person.

Cost of the golf is $50 per person or $200 per team and reservations should be made by June 17 with Winger or Williams.

Gold hole sponsorships are also available for $ 100 and black sponsorships for $50.

All proceeds from the golf outing are used to support the Purdue Club's scholarship fund at the Putnam County Community Foundation.

Since the inception of its scholarship program, the Purdue Club has awarded $27,000 to 45 Putnam County students attending Purdue University.
