GFD annual golf scramble set for Sunday, June 12

The Greencastle Fire Department will host its 17th annual golf scramble at Windy Hill Country Club on Sunday, June 12.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hoosier Burn Camp.

There will be two flights for the scramble. Morning registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with shotgun start to follow at 8. Afternoon flight registration is at 1:30 p.m. with shotgun start at 2.

Play is limited to one flight per player.

Entries are limited to the first 14 teams per flight. Entrants should bring their own four-man teams.

Cost is $50 per player. Mulligans are $5 each and limited to two per player.

Entry forms are available at the Windy Hill clubhouse or at the fire station.

The first-place team will receive a $700 prize, followed by $500 for second and $300 for third. Prizes will also be awarded to individuals for longest drive, closest to pin and longest putt.
