Leona Irene Patrick

Irene Patrick, 83, of Quincy, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 9, 2016.

She was born Oct. 20, 1932 in Clinton County, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Dorn and Evelyn (Woods) Culberson.

She married the late Carl Patrick on Jan. 23, 1955.

Irene was a member of the Amity Baptist Church, Cloverdale, and Order of Eastern Star No. 546, Eminence.

She was a graduate of Purdue University, majoring in home economics.

A member of the Cloverleaf Home Economics Club, Irene also enjoyed coffee with her friends at McDonald's.

Survivors include her son, Brian Patrick, Quincy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Patrick, on March 8, 2000, and her son, Rex E. Patrick, Aug. 6, 1983.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 13 at the funeral home, where Eastern Star services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. during visitation.
