The Putnam County Community Foundation's annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 15, at DePauw University's Student Union Building.

Sponsored by First National Bank, this year's annual meeting will celebrate some of the many accomplishments of the Community Foundation's first 30 years of service.

The chocolate box raffle is a fun tradition at the annual meeting, and is made possible by local businesses who donate unique gifts.

Lynda Dunbar, owner of Totally Nuts and Candy Company is donating 100 boxes of delicious homemade chocolates.

Shuee's Furniture and Mattress owners, Bill and Brent Shuee, are donating a Klaussner recliner of the winner's choosing in a fabric to match your home, while Mason Jewelers owner Steve Mason is donating a ladies' white gold emerald-and-diamond teardrop pendant diamond necklace.

The boxes of chocolates are offered for sale before and during the annual meeting event for $10 each. Inside one of the boxes will be a certificate for the diamond necklace. Inside another box will be a certificate for the recliner.

All of the boxes will be opened during the evening in a fun reveal ceremony. You must be present to win. Proceeds from the raffle support the programs of the Community Foundation.

The Putnam County Community Foundation is a public charity established in 1985 to serve donors, award grants and provide leadership to enrich life in Putnam County. It administers more than 279 active funds and endowments and has awarded more than $12 million in grants and scholarships.
