Colorful C.A.R.R. Run

From a colorful, powdery start (above) to a lonely finish for overall winner Claudia Monnett of Cloverdale (below), the third annual C.A.R.R. (Camo America Rainbow Run) 5K run at Big Walnut Sports Park perservered despite 90-degree temperatures Saturday. The 3.1-mile run was preceded by a dedication ceremony for the new outdoor basketball court at the sports park, built in honor of Andrew Keith Carr, late son of Julie and Mark Carr of Greencastle. While Monnett, who runs for DePauw University, was the overall and women's winner, Drew Brattain of Greencastle was the men's winner.
