'Read the Bible Like Jesus' study set for July 8-10

A three-full day biblical studies conference will be held July 8-10 in Greencastle on the Speeches of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew.

This is not a church revival, but live study sessions on the topic: "Reading the Bible Like Jesus: Scribes Trained for the Kingdom of Heaven."

Thirteen speakers will offer 16 sessions. Friday, July 8 will ask: "Does It Matter How We Read the Gospels?" Saturday will focus on: "The Speeches of Jesus and the Kingdom." And Sunday will focus on "Reading Matthew, Reaching Out."

Special keynote speakers include Jeff Faull (Friday evening) and Gary D. Collier (Saturday evening).

A banquet Saturday evening includes the presentation on "Reading the Gospels: The Women at the Tomb as a Test Case."

The event is sponsored by the CWP Classroom: An Institute for the Art of Biblical Conversation, an international non-profit organization for the promotion of conversational Bible study.

Former Miss Indiana Dayna Ashley will sing on Sunday. Speakers will come from various parts of the US and Canada.

All who attend will be asked to make a donation of their choosing to help cover costs.
