Cheryl J. Severe

Cheryl J. Severe, 68, of Roachdale, passed away Thursday, June 30 at Hendricks Regional Health.

She was born on Oct. 10, 1947 to Lester and Martha (Whitcomb) Godbey at Witham Hospital.

Cheryl was a graduate of Grandville Wells High School in 1965.

She married LaRue Severe Jr. on Aug. 24, 1968, he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, serving others, bingo, reading and crocheting.

She is survived by her three daughters, Candy Prudent, of Terre Haute, Melissa (Steve) Doyle, of Lake Holiday, and Tammy (Tim) Surber, of Roachdale; six grandchildren; two great-grandsons; siblings Sharon Crane, of Crawfordsville, Linda Peck, of Crawfordsville, and Donald Godbey, of Amo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and one brother.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 11 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St. with Pastor Glen McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in Roachdale Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
