Kathleen Louise Krampe Norris

Kathleen Louise Krampe Norris, 65, passed away unexpectedly, peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 14, 2016 in Plainfield.

She was born in Brazil on Feb. 19, 1951 to Robert John Krampe and Margaret Ann Spugnardi, both deceased.

She loved family and especially children.

After working at CBS in Terre Haute from 1968 until 1975, she was a caretaker for many children.

Kathy loved dogs, Ford Mustangs and the New York Yankees.

She was a devout Catholic and regularly attended Mass at Annunciation Church in Brazil.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John T Norris of Brazil; sisters Barbara Gwin and husband John McLaughlin of Brazil, Dianna Wetnight and husband Chuck of Brazil, and Theresa Krampe and companion Danna Korak of Greenwood. Also surviving are son Christopher Krampe and wife Beth of Manhattan, son Robert Norris and wife Valerie of Brownsburg; daughter Jennifer Walters and husband Russell of Plainfield; brother-in-law William Ed Norris and wife Sue, as well as granddaughter Reagan Walters, grandsons Peyton Walters and Lincoln Walters. She was also survived by nieces Laura Cisco and Amy Wetnight, nephew Eddy Norris and other extended family.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Brazil, with Father John Hollowell officiating.

The family will accept friends for visitation on Monday from 4-8 p.m.. at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil.
