Myrna Elaine (Dunivan) Chiles, 78, of Brazil, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Exceptional Living Center of Brazil with her family by her side.

Myrna was born Aug. 12, 1937 in Perrysville, Ind., the daughter of the late Ottis and Bess (Marshall) Dunivan and the stepdaughter of Edna Mae Dunivan.

She married the love of her life, Doyle K Chiles, on June 6, 1955. He preceded her in passing on Nov. 20, 2013.

She spent her younger years raising her three children. In her spare time she would enjoy singing while Doyle would play the guitar.

She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, working on crafts and flowers, caring for the garden and spending time with her family.

Myrna attended church regularly throughout her life.

In addition to her parents and husband of 58 years, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Chiles, and two brothers, Ernie Dunivan and Bob Dunivan.

She is survived by her children, Tina Coley (Dan), Rowdy Chiles; daughter-in-law Tracy Chiles; grandchildren Curtis Coley, Carrie Davis (Adam), Kayla Chiles, Emily Lumsdon, Hannah Savill, Ryder Chiles, Faith Chiles and Tristan Chiles; great-grandchildren Lindsay, Daniel, Daphne, Caleigh, Chase, Jaxon, Mavrie, Rylan and Mindle; siblings Rolland Dunivan (Nadine), Russell Dunivan (Pat), Jack Dunivan (Doris), Jimmy Dunivan and Eleanor Booher (Quent); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

At the request of the family, cremation will take place with burial at Brick Chapel Cemetery at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at Ebenezer Church, 1698 E. County Road 1350 North, Brazil.
