James Carl Hoffman

James Carl Hoffman, 79, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016.

He was born June 9, 1937 to the late Walter and Reba (Bradford) Hoffman in Indianapolis.

He was an award-winning floral designer.

Mr. Hoffman worked in Indianapolis and Plainfield and opened J.C. Hoffman Florist in Indianapolis from 1962 until 1972.

He moved to Greencastle in 1988 and opened J.C. Hoffman, Limited, Antiques and Gifts until he retired in 2006.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Hoffman.

There will be no calling or services.

Inurnment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
