Roy Mack James Jr.

Roy Mack James Jr., 77, of Greencastle, died on Thursday, July 21, 2016.

Mr. James was born on Dec. 11, 1938 in Stonega, Va., to Roy and Anna Grace James.

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Greencastle.

Surviving are his children, Sandy Oty and husband, Terry, Phil James, Tina (Bob) Stuart, Cheryl Murphy, Tanya Hughes, Isis (Dan) Moore and Shawn James; siblings Joyce James Lewis and William James; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Narcissus James; daughter Crystal Watts, and siblings Jack, Barbara and Phyllis James.

Services will be conducted at10 a.m. Thursday, July 28 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Mike Dunn officiating.

Calling will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
