BRAZIL -- Indiana Conservation Officers executed two search warrants Wednesday at a Brazil residence, making two arrests relative to a Parke County theft case.

Joshua R. Williams, 35, and Daniel E. Speck, 31, both of Brazil, were subsequently taken into custody and are facing drug and theft-related charges.

The case stems from a theft investigation earlier this summer at Raccoon Lake Boat Rental.

Information obtained during the investigation led to a search warrant being issued for a Brazil residential property. A second search warrant was issued after Conservation Officers located drugs and paraphernalia inside the residence.

Stolen property related to the original theft case was seized, along with items related to other burglaries.

Marijuana, methamphetamine and articles consistent with making and dealing synthetic drug substances were also discovered.

A motorcycle with the vehicle identification numbers removed and several firearms were impounded pending the disposition of the case.

Clay County Sheriff's Department deputies and Indiana State Police officers assisted at the scene.
