Saturday a nice day for scrimmages

All four Putnam County high schools hosted scrimmages last weekend involving all teams in their programs from youth league through the varsity squads. At top are some future Tiger Cubs taking a break, while action below is from Greencastle (left) and Cloverdale scrimmage sessions on Saturday morning. All four varsity teams will host controlled scrimmages on Fridaiy night, with Southmont coming to Greencastle, Indianapolis Ritter going to North Putnam, Linton going to Cloverdale and South Putnam hosting Indianapolis Lutheran. The regular season opens on August 19.

  • Really, thats all the banner printed about the scrimmages of all the teams in the county. I bet if cooper neese was playing football there would be 2 pages of stuff. I hope they cover and do a better job for all the county teams.
