A 45-year-old Bainbridge man was arrested early Monday on five separate charges after an unusual incident on Greencastle's West Side.

At approximately 4:45 a.m. Monday Greencastle Police Department Det. Matt Huffman was dispatched to West Walnut Street on the report of a suspicious person.

Glen Moxley Jr.

The caller advised 911 that a male subject had been driving erratically up and down Walnut Street and also going door to door, knocking on windows.

When Huffman arrived on the scene, the suspect attempted to flee, hitting Huffman's vehicle with his vehicle.

The driver, later identified as Glen Moxley Jr., exited the vehicle he was driving and started approaching Huffman.

After repeated commands to stop, a taser was deployed to subdue the Moxley subject. He was then taken to Putnam County Hospital for observation and a blood draw.

Moxley is being held at the Putnam County Jail on charges of:

-- Resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.

-- Criminal mischief.

-- Disorderly conduct.

-- Possession of methamphetamine.

-- Operating a motor vehicle with intoxicated causing endangerment.

As of Monday, one victim has reported having a vehicle struck several times with a 2x4 during the night.

Upon further investigation, a clear plastic bag containing a white substance was located. The incident is still under investigation at this time.

Officers assisting at the scene included DePauw Police Lt. Mike Moore and GPD Sgt. Eric Vaughan.
