Gary James Love

Gary James Love, 67, of Brownsburg, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.

Gary was born June 12, 1949 in Endicott, N.Y. Son of the late Henry and Geraldine (Wolfanger) Love, Gary was a graduate of Greencastle High School in 1967 and Indiana State University in 1972.

Gary had a long and successful career in real estate.

Loved greatly by his family and friends, Gary was known for his outgoing, kind personality and his witty sense of humor.

Gary was an avid traveler and held an equal love for both the beach and the mountains.

He shared a passion for college basketball with his daughter, Mallory, and especially enjoyed rooting for the team of her alma mater, the Butler University Bulldogs.

He was also overjoyed with the recent birth of his granddaughter, Monroe.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Love.

Surviving Gary are his daughter, Mallory (Michael) Lazaro; and granddaughter, Monroe, all of Noblesville; former spouse, Kim Love of Brownsburg; and a multitude of friends who were undoubtedly considered a part of his family.

A memorial service for family will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle at a later date.
