Putnam Senior Fair set Sept. 7

The Putnam County Senior Fair will take place from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

Putnam County Hospital, Exceptional Living of Brazil and Towne Park Assisted Living are the corporate sponsors of the fair.

PCH will be especially well represented, bringing 13 different groups to the fair to showcase various programs that meet the health needs of seniors in the community.

Jeff Rich will lend his humor as emcee of the day, guaranteeing a good time for all. There will be various health screenings and flu shots available, as well as other information important to senior citizens and their families.

Lead sponsors include Endeavor Communications, Hickory Creek at Sunset and Indiana Home Care Plus.

A free pulled-pork or chicken salad lunch will be available to visitors to enjoy while listening to the entertainment of the John Wood Combo.

The day will conclude with vendor recognition, awarding of gifts, and drawings for grand prizes consisting of $50, $100 and $200.

There is no admission fee to the Senior Fair.
