Cecil Ila Poole Sr.

Cecil Ila Poole Sr., 86, formerly of Greencastle, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016.

Mr. Poole was born Sept. 12, 1929 in Danville, Ind., to the late Ila Richard and Thelma Clampit Poole.

He served his country in the United States Navy Reserve and worked many years as a welder at Stuart Warner in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Amo Cemetery.
