Golf

* Two-man tourney set -- Clover Meadows will be hosting its annual Two-Man Tournament on Sept. 17. The tournament will be a 36-hole best ball format and teams will be flighted for the second round based on their first round performance.

All skill levels are welcomed to this event. There will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and lunch will be served in the middle of the two rounds.

The cost is $55 per player, so $110 per two-man team. Golfers will receive greens fees, cart, lunch and prize payout.

Payout will be based on the amount of teams that sign up.

Please make sure to sign up no later than Sept. 14th if you plan on playing.

Contact Clover Meadows at (765) 795-6001 to sign up and payment will be due the morning of registration.

Swimming

* PCST to begin Sept. 12 -- The Putnam County Swim Team will begin its fall season on Sept. 12 with both beginner and advanced competitive groups.

Registration is open and can be accessed from the PCST website at www.putnamcountyswimteam.com.

First-year swimmers should one of the new swimmer evaluations that will take place Sept. 6-7 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at GHS.
