Greencastle Christian to host benefit concert for The R.O.C.K. Camp

Monday, September 5, 2016

Greencastle Christian Church will host the third-annual benefit concert for The R.O.C.K. Camp and Outreach Center on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The free concert is set for 6:30 p.m. at GCC.

The night will include some of the greatest hits made popular by the Award winning-group Truth and will feature professional musicians from around Indiana.

The show will alos feature songwriter and worship leader Bobbie Lancaster and friends, as well as recording artist Wesley Gray.

The R.O.C.K., located at 11960 U.S. 231 South, Cloverdale, is moving toward phase one of its building process, with a tentative goal of wanting to start welcoming campers next summer.

Erik and Anna Foster created a non-profit organization in 2011 and have been working toward this goal since.

With a vision “to find Christ, grow in Christ and stay in Christ” the goal is for The R.O.C.K. to be a year-round facility that will host a full schedule of children’s camps, youth camps, marriage Retreats, family camps, sporting programs and more.

The event is free, but there will be a free-will offering collected.
