The world is watching intently as the United States closes in on Election Day, Nov. 8.

A new president will be elected after months of caucuses, primary elections, rallies, debates, tweets and press conferences.

To help shed some light on the process, the Greencastle League of Women Voters is hosting an evening with DePauw University political science professor Bruce Stinebrickner.

His lecture, “The 2016 Presidential Selection Process: Looking Back, Looking Ahead,” will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 21 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 520 E. Seminary St., Greencastle.

Parking is available behind the church.
