Participating in a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony at Conspire: Contemporary Craft, 2 W. Conspire specializes in modern handmade products, featuring a collection of handmade housewares, prints, paper goods, clothing, accessories and bath and body products, as well as the Black Cat Gallery rotating local art space. Conspire offers organic and fair trade teas and coffee, herbs, chocolate, artisan condiments and pickles and local honey blended and grown by artists and herbalists in the area and beyond. The mission of Conspire is to reconnect consumers with makers by bringing the best of modern handmade art, craft and local foods, and to support local artisans with a venue for networking and for showing their work. Conspire is open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays.
