Seven officers promoted at PCF

PUTNAMVILLE -- Superintendent Brian Smith and the Putnamville Correctional Facility staff announced the promotion of seven deserving staff members to the rank of sergeant.

Totaling more than 42 years of experience in the correctional field, this group of individuals has proven to pull its weight not only in each members’ respective area, but also in many other capacities such as K-9 commander, street officer, field training officer, disciplinary review officer and transport officer.

“The talent, experience and knowledge that each of these individual sergeants bring to the field, as well as this facility, is outstanding and recognized,” Superintendent Smith said.
