PCH celebrates renovation with open house

Putnam County Hospital welcomes the community to come enjoy the newly updated Third Floor Outpatient Specialty Clinic during an open house celebration on Thursday, Sept. 29 from noon to 2 p.m.

Staff will be on site to visit with attendees and light refreshments will be served. The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:15 p.m.

Putnam County Hospital is dedicated to providing big-city specialties, close to home. The newly renovated Third Floor Outpatient Specialty Clinic is now open and seeing patients who require these specialty services. The clinic now has two large waiting areas with new furniture and educational televisions that inform patients of upcoming hospital events and educational information on today’s current healthcare trends.

The patient rooms are also equipped with state-of-the-art Context Media interactive wallboards and tablets that help the physician explain diagnosis and conditions with dynamic visuals and explanations.

Putnam County Hospital offers a variety of specialties that patients once had to drive miles to go see.
