A New Set of Wheels

The Shifting Gears program, led by Brody Moss of Putnamville Correctional Facility, recently donated 25 bikes to Area 30 for local schools. The bikes come from Bike Garage Indy. “I met with these folks a few months ago, and it impressed me what they do to give back to the community,” PCF Superintendent Brian Smith said. The ball got rolling when Smith contacted Putnam County Sheriff Scott Stockton to ask if he knew of a use for the bikes. “If there is a resource there and I can help the people of Putnam County, especially the children, I’m going to,” Stockton said.
