Carla Sue Powell

Carla Sue Powell, 64, of Reelsville, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2016 at Rosegate Village in Indianapolis with her husband by her side.

Carla was born April 18, 1952, the daughter of Gilbert and Imogene (Heckman) Bultemeier.

She married John Powell in 1994.

Carla had worked secretarial duties and hospice work.

Carla was a member of the Greencastle Women of Moose Chapter 138.

She loved horses, reading and spending time with family and friends. Carla was an outgoing person who was always a joy to be around.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, John Powell; sons Jason Monnier (Nichole) and John Monnier (Kim); parents Gilbert and Imogene Bultemeier; sister Deanna Sinn (David); as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Services will be conducted at noon Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46815.

Visitation will be Thursday at 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church. A second visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave, Brazil, IN 47834.
