FILLMORE -- Fillmore Town Council President Curt Leonard announced Thursday that the properties at 114, 154 and 158 Main St. have been cleaned up.

“I’ve had probably 10 calls of people saying, ‘It looks great,’ President Leonard said.

Clerk-Treasurer Tom Gilson reported that two neighbors to 114 Main St. have offered to mow the property.

President Leonard also announced that West Central Contracting has inspected Putnam Street.

“We went from the corner down and he measured everything,” President Leonard said. “We’re not going to have the money to do the whole road. Basically what we’re going to have is around $20,000. Basically the only thing we can do is patch; it’s what we’ve got to work with until next year.”
