Public Access to air 2016 Candidate Forum through Election Day

With Election Day upcoming, Greencastle's Public Access channel (channel three on most viewing guides) will be airing the recent Candidate Forum that took place inside DePauw University's Pulliam Center on certain dates until election season is through.

The forum, which was sponsored by the Greencastle chapter of the League of Women Voters (LWV) and 91.5-WGRE, will run on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, Nov. 8.

This year's forum featured a debate-style format with several local candidates vying for various positions of office.

Fielding questions from three panelists who represented LWV, WGRE and The Banner Graphic, candidates who took part in the forum were: Glenda Ritz for Superintendent of Public Instruction; Jim Baird and Kim Fidler for Indiana House District 44; Kevin Rogers and John Crane for State Senate District 24; John Dale and Steven Mayoras for U.S. House District 4; Nancy Wells for Putnam County Commissioner; and Dave Brown and Wally Steele for Putnam County Coroner.
