Gregg/Hale bus tour sets Oct. 31 Greencastle stop

Heading into the 2016 election homestretch, Democrat candidates John Gregg for governor and Christina Hale for lieutenant governor are taking their campaign on the road with a statewide bus tour that will make a Halloween afternoon stop in Greencastle.

Designed for one final push to get voters informed, energized and out to vote Nov. 8, the "Moving Indiana Forward Bus Tour" will be making a stop in Greencastle on Monday, Oct. 31 from 2:30-3 p.m. at The Swizzle Stick on the north side of the courthouse square.

For the bus tour stops in Terre Haute (noon to 1 p.m.), Brazil (1:30-2 p.m.) and Greencastle, Kim Fidler, Democrat candidate for District 44 state representative, will also join the excursion.

The Gregg/Hale campaign bus tour will begin on Oct. 29 with a kickoff rally in the gubernatorial candidate's hometown of Sandborn and then will head to some 55 different communities across the state before ending with a rally in Indianapolis on Nov. 5.

The tentative Oct. 31 schedule includes:

-- 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Lyles.

-- 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. -- Vincennes.

-- Noon to 1 p.m. Terre Haute.

-- 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Brazil.

-- 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Greencastle.

-- 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Plainfield.

-- 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Zionsville.
