Principals Month

Banner Graphic/Chelsea Modglin Greencastle Mayor William Dory signed a proclamation recently recognizing October to be National Principals Month “in honor of the service of all elementary, middle school and high school principals and to recognize the importance of their leadership.” The designation was originally made by Congress in coordination with the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the American Federation of School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Greencastle Community School Corporation administrators who took part in the event with Dory include (standing from left) Superintendent Jeff Hubble, Greencastle High School Principal Russell Hesler, Greencastle Middle School Principal Scott Weltz, Tzouanakis Intermediate Principal Jon Strube, Deer Meadow Primary Principal Mike McHugh and Ridpath Primary Principal Emily Johnson.
