‘Dessert 101’ program set Thursday, Nov. 17 at Area 30

Are you interested in learning new recipes? Would you like to hear from culinary arts students and past Baker’s Best winners? Do you want to spend a morning with friends and trying new recipes? Would you like to make healthy desserts?

If you answered yes to any of the questions listed above we invite you attend Dessert 101, taking place on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 9 a.m. This event will feature recipes from local culinary arts students, and past Putnam County Fair Baker’s Best winners, and more. The event will take place in the Area 30 conference room.

Registrations are taken by calling the Purdue Extension office at 653-8411. Register no later than Friday, Nov. 11. The program cost is $5, which includes taste testing of several recipes, and program materials.

The program is in co-sponsorship with Indiana Extension Homemakers, Putnam County Hospital, and Area 30.

Indiana Extension Homemakers Association, founded in 1913, continues to build on its rich heritage by working to strengthen Indiana homes and families. Membership is open to all regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, handicap or national origin. It is the mission of the Indiana Extension Homemakers Association to strengthen families through continuing education, leadership development and volunteer community support.
