Tuesday, October 25, 2016
Cloverdale High School students (from left) Rylan Hall, Kenzie Stoltz and Hannah Rady -- members of CYCLE (Countywide Youth Council for Leadership and Engagement) led by Rachel Jern -- have completed a collaborative effort in order to raise awareness of and combat domestic violence. CYCLE members asked CHS students during lunch periods to write “safe date” ideas on purple strips of paper to initiate many ideas of being with other students and friends safely. Public and parental ideas were also added to the chain links during the home volleyball game on Thursday, Oct. 6 as well.
