Ivy Tech to host free lean training at Greencastle campus

Ivy Tech Community college is hosting a free two-session Lean Training at its Greencastle campus, located at 915 Zinc Mill Rd.

Lean Training is an interactive, comprehensive and practical workshop to teach fundamental lean concepts and tools that can be applied in any work environment.

The training will help attendees maximize customer value and minimize waste. It will also teach how to provide more value while using fewer resources.

The two training sessions will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15 and Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Sessions are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the certification exam will be at the end of the second session. Individuals who pass the exam with a score of 80 percent or higher will earn an Ivy Tech Lean Certification.
