-- Community Help Desk, 2-4 p.m.

-- Introduction to the Internet, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Will introduce patrons to search engines, browsers and some of the best websites on the Internet.

Tuesday, Nov. 15

-- Try It, You’ll Like It! Food Sampler, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Sample plant-based foods, brought to you by the Live Local, Think Global Environmental group.

-- Community Help Desk, 4-7 p.m.

-- One Hour of Code, 4-5 p.m.

Friends from DePauw introduce the basics of coding.

-- Crochet, 6-7:30 p.m.

Class is currently filled. Visit the Circulation Desk to sign up for the next session.

Wednesday, Nov. 16

-- Junior Scientists, 4-5 p.m.

By conducting simple science experiments, junior scientists will learn about the world around them, build teamwork and problem-solving skills, grasp scientific concepts, and most importantly, have fun satisfying their curiosity. Recommended for grades K-2. No registration required.

-- Yarn Perch, 6-8 p.m.

Need crochet help or crochet companionship? Jo MacPhail will take her Yarn Perch (on the balcony above the lobby) every Wednesday evening to help those in need.

Thursday, Nov. 17

-- Community Help Desk, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available for one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and to help diagnose and repair computers and devices.

-- Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3 p.m.

Open bridge game in the Kiwanis room. All who enjoy bridge are invited to attend, regardless of skill level. Group will be facilitated by Dorothy Brown. For questions, contact Barbara Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

-- Brick Club, 4-5:30 p.m.

Let your creative side wild with Lego challenges. Each month will be a different challenge, from storybook characters to video game characters, youth ages 4-12 are encouraged to participate.

-- Yoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PCPL is offering free Yoga sessions on Thursday evenings.

-- Film: “Lady in the Van,” 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The public is invited to view the film in an event sponsored by Beyond Homeless and the Putnam County Public Library in recognition of Homelessness Awareness Week which is the week before Thanksgiving every year. Michelle Boller and staff of Beyond Homeless will offer a Q&A session following the film.
