Big Woodwind Bash

Big Woodwind Bash brings on a whirlwind of clarinets, flutes and saxophones of all sizes, with a mixed trio thrown in for good measure. The composers at this bash are a mixed bag as well, a colorful lot from 17th to 21st century creatives, offering abundant variety to welcome in the beginning of the holiday season.

String and Mixed Chamber Ensemble Recital

Chamber music is a vital part of study for any music student. This program will feature DePauw student chamber ensembles, showcasing their work throughout this semester. The evening will include excerpts from Beethoven's Piano Trio No. 1 and Schumann's Piano Quintet, as well as the full Brahms B Major Piano Trio and Shostakovich's Third String Quartet.

The DePauw Jazz Ensemble brings sounds brash and subtle to their favorite venue -- The Fluttering Duck. Fun evening.

School of Music Sixth Annual Holiday Gala

The whole town turns out for the annual Holiday Gala featuring all our favorite elves, so be sure to get your tickets early! Saturday night's gala is followed by a reception in the Green Center Great Hall. Sunday's family concert includes a visit from Santa.
