Ralph H. Jordan

Ralph H. Jordan, 85, of Fillmore, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016.

Born Sept. 1, 1931 in Delaware, Ohio, he was the son of Ralph Harry and Marie (Clark) Jordan.

He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

Ralph had worked at IBM for 35 years, as a tool and die maker, retiring in 1987.

He also served as the caretaker of Fillmore Cemetery for 24 years.

He was a 50-year member of the Fillmore Masonic Lodge and a member of the Brick Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Zimmer) Jordan; children Rick Jordan, Pam Perrine, Deborah (Phil) Culver, Kathy Moyer, Deanne Jordan and Dawne (Steve) Cooper; stepchildren David E. Jones and Vicki (Richard) Jones-Rice; sister Juanita Fitzgerald; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bill and Gene Jordan.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment with military honors will follow at Fillmore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
